Hafa Adai! My name is Dylan and I’m currently a high school student in Guam. As a young artist myself, I initially began Project GUAM in 2022 informally as a way to explore my hobby further. Facing creative blocks, I wanted to find inspiration by learning about the stories of much more seasoned artists. In doing so, I discovered how rich and diverse the Guamanian art community truly is. That was when I realized that I wanted to share their journey with others by launching this blog so that others like me could find a haven for artistic inspiration and celebration.

Through Project GUAM, I hope to cultivate a sense of belonging and collaboration within the Guamanian art community on island and around the world, inspiring individuals of all backgrounds to explore their creativity and contribute to the rich mosaic of artistic expression. My mission is to foster connections between divides—the young and old, the new and experienced, the traditional and contemporary—uniting them through a shared passion for art and creativity.
